Continue the uniquely American wartime tradition of mobilizing citizens in direct support of troops in combat. This is our history, from merchants supplying General Washington's army during the Revolutionary War to the war bond drives of World War II. Now, it is our time to mobilize and help our troops succeed.

Deliver the resources the troops need to win over the local people in Iraq and Afghanistan. Major Egland saw first hand in Iraq and Afghanistan that the troops are well equipped to engage in combat, but need the American people to equip them to engage communities.  Soldiers and Marines have proven that providing tailored responses to local needs--whether medical supplies, water filtration systems or enough sports equipment to start a soccer league--builds trust and makes the people more willing to stand up, so our troops can stand down and come home--victorious.

Your tax-deductible financial support is vital. We accept no government funds. Also, we run lean. Everyone including Major Egland is a committed volunteer, so there are no salaries or paid "consultants" that weigh down some organizations. Rest assured your support is helping the troops. So far, individual donations have ranged from $10 to $2,000. Troops Need You has already shipped over $75,000 in goods and more shipments to Iraq and Afghanistan are being prepared. But there are fifty battalions operating in the most critical areas and they need about $5,000 worth of goods per month. Time is running out, so it is up to us to unite and meet the demand of the combat battalions who need our help.
